January Meeting Recap

Thanks again to Yvonne Owyen from Olympic Community of Health for presenting on Olympic Connect. Yvonne said, "It was a pleasure connecting with the coalition and hearing your thoughtful questions and insights. Your engagement means a lot as we continue building a network that truly serves our communities. Thank you again for your time and enthusiasm. We’re grateful to have champions like you helping us grow this initiative and bring it to life."

The session was recorded but the following resources were also shared to make it easier to access what was discussed:

  • Current Funding Opportunity: Olympic Community of Health (OCH) seeks to allocate funding to health-serving partners across the Olympic region (Clallam, Jefferson, and Kitsap counties) to support, train, and build capacity for the region’s Community-Based Workforce (and their direct supervisors). This is a rolling funding opportunity available until funds run out. Partners            may apply for short-term funding as they have needs and capacity.            More information can be found at https://www.olympicch.org/funding
Note: Partners who have a contract with OCH to serve as a Care Coordination Partner are NOT eligible for this funding as dollars to support the Community-Based Workforce are already embedded in those contracts.
  • Olympic Connect Website: Discover more about Olympic Connect and see how you can refer a client for support. https://olympicconnect.org/

If you have any questions about Olympic Connect, feel free       to reach out at OlympicCH.org.

Watch the recording below to learn more Olympic Connect and Project Connect and hear updates from our members.
